Camp NaNoWriMo is almost upon us, and if you, like me, are
taking up the challenge, then chances are that you’re in the middle of last
minute preparations. Maybe you’re finishing up plotting, like I am, or you’re
clearing away a TBR pile, or putting the finishing touches to the edits of
another book. There are many things to be done to make Camp NaNoWriMo a little
easier. Today I’d like to share a few useful links that hopefully might help
your Camp go a little smoother.
Willa @Willa Nicole Scribblings has a post on five unusual ways to get over writers block.
Sophie @The Techno Maid has a great video with tips and tricks
to help you make it through Camp NaNoWriMo
@Go Teen Writers has two great posts on motivating yourself
to write. Stephanie Morrill has five tips to help you keep going to the end of
your book. Guest poster Katherine Grubb has seven tips to help you carve out
the time and space to work on your book.
Laura Mizvaria @Writer Owl has an awesome post listing eleven websites for writers. There are name generators, inspiring Pinterest
profiles and many more helpful sites.
Imogen @Gossiping with Dragons (hey wait, that’s me!) has a
post on three ways to motivate yourself.
These are a few of the
useful posts I’ve found. Now it’s your turn. Link me to some posts you’ve found
helpful. Are you taking part in Camp NaNoWriMo?
Oohhh, *clicks all the links* And I have horrific writers block (well, I just feel 1000% unmotivated, hehe) so I definitely need that article! XD Great round up, Imogen! I LIKE.
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad I found a post on writer's block now. There are certainly some interesting methods of getting rid of it. Hopefully something helps you. Are you taking part in Camp NaNo?
DeleteEven though I'm not participating in Camp Nanowrimo, I definitely need these links! Saving this.
ReplyDeleteIt's always good to have some resources in reserves for when you need them. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteHi Immy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links!! Sadly I couldn't find any but I have a little tip: music. Listen to a song that resembles your story. I love listening to the Frozen Radio.
Scarlet
Oh yes, music is a big help. I've been noting down music that suits my Camp NaNo idea, so hopefully when I lose inspiration and motivation, that will help me. Thanks for the tip!
DeleteI'm terrified... NaNo starts in two days and I'm not ready! Hopefully the links will help me gear up!
ReplyDeletexoxo Morning
I'm not ready either! I always have trouble when it comes to planning. You can do it though Morning. Even if you have quite got everything ready, just go with it. You'll be surprised what you come up with.
DeleteHave fun writing! I'm not participating, but it's always good to stay motivated. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely good to stay motivated. The good thing about writing advice is that it can be used at any other time of year or season of writing too.
