One of the first blogs I started reading after I started Gossiping with Dragons back in March, was Sunny’s blog, A Splash of Ink. I started reading because she wrote about reading and writing, and I stayed because of her friendly writing voice and interesting post subjects. I was also really impressed with her blog design, especially the header. Blog design counts for a lot of the first impression folk. Not only was I interested in Sunny’s blog, but she came and started reading and commenting on my too.

Sunny writes about all sorts of aspects of reading and writing. One of my favourite recent posts of hers is If Book Quotes Were About Food…Part 2 where she took quotes and rewrote them to be about food. Hilarious. She recently started a feature on her blog called Jane’s Reviews, where her sister posts reviews of interesting books. I’ve discovered a couple of new books already that I would like to read thanks to these reviews.

You should also definitely check out the pages on the blog. I’ve only just started to explore these myself, but there are loads of helpful links for writers, linking not only to useful websites, but also to specific articles. I can tell these are going to be very useful to me in the future.
